October Fun Day

Our KIDS October Fun day is set for Saturday OCTOBER 16th.

Meet at the church at 1:00 pm and we'll carpool to the Ozark Corn Maze!!!!

Cost is $5 per person (if we get a group of 10+, $7 if we are a group less then 10)

You may choose to purchase pumpkins for an additional cost. We request that at least one parent per family help chaperone.

Farmington JDRF Walk

September 18th is the Annual Farmington JDRF Walk.
We are looking for some K.I.D.S. to volunteer along side our adults to help pass out water to the walkers. You will need to be at the church by 8:50-9:00 a.m.. We are usually finished by 9:30 or 9:45 a.m.. Hope to see you there!!!!

A Fresh Start....

Attention all Farmington United Methodist Parents and Kids,

We are starting this Fall off with a fresh start. new Sunday School classes and new Timothy Teams classes. We'll be having some new adventures together. We'll be meeting some new teachers and making some new friends. We will also be having a few new activities ...missions opportunities and fun days posted soon. That's why we are creating this new blog spot so you and your parents/kids can get informed easier. Please bear with me... as I have never run a blog before.... I will be learning as I go.

For now I want to begin by let you know a little about what Farmington United Methodist K.I.D.S. is.
K— Knowing God and His Word

I— Involving friendship and caring

D— Developing ministry gifts

S—Serving in the church and community

Our Mission:

w To help kids know the truth of God’s Word

w To teach kids the love the Christ

w To help kids grow closer to God

w To encourage kids to share Christ’s love

Our Programs:

S.AM.—Sundays at 9:30a.m. Classes for PreK-2nd and 3rd-5th grades. Bible learning and activities in small groups. Sharing, caring and learning rolled together in a fun package!

Children’s Church—Sunday mornings during 10:30a.m. worship

Pint-sized (and quart-sized for bigger kids) worship, including praise songs, Bible memory challenges, and Bible lessons.

Timothy Team—6:00 Wednesday evenings during the school year. Dig deeper into the Bible to learn about God’s love and His truth for all of us.

Missions Projects—various projects throughout the year. Fun-filled, hands-on activities to share God’s love in the church, community and throughout the world.

Fun Groups—quarterly gatherings throughout the year… Just for the FUN of it!

Vacation Bible School—summer fun of praise, worship, lessons and missions in an extremely relaxed environment.
